Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Weekend Block (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonatal patients in a Level IV / Surgical NICU setting
• Manage and monitor patients with complex diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension
• Deliver pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative nursing care as required
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care demands
• Participate in holiday coverage as required per contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Experience in a Level IV and/or Surgical NICU environment
• Must pass drug screening and nicotine testing — no exceptions
• Current influenza vaccination required — no exceptions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
• Experience managing complex neonatal surgical diagnoses and post-operative neonatal patients
