Candidate requirements
Job specification - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical and behavioral health conditions
- Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and perform clinical assessments
- Work collaboratively with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers
- Respond to psychiatric crises with appropriate de-escalation techniques and interventions
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
- Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner according to hospital standards
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
- Follow established protocols for suicide precautions, fall risks, and patient restraints when necessary
Candidate requirements - Current RN license in Washington.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in MedSurg, behavioral health, or psychiatric nursing
- BLS certification required.
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and respond calmly to emergencies
