Job Description

Our client in the financial technology industry is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their team!

Location: St. Louis, MO (3 days onsite, 2 days of remote work each week)

Pay: $65-$72/hour W2

Here is what you will be doing:

• Lead the entire project lifecycle from initial scope definition through final implementation, ensuring all deliverables arrive on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and drive milestones using formal project management methodologies and tools.
• Identify, coordinate, and manage project resources and key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for status updates and project health.
• Lead the design and implementation of highly complex strategic initiatives, presenting solutions that maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
• Govern the risk management process by identifying dependencies, developing mitigation plans, and facilitating the escalation of issues that block delivery.
• Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the project, including the management of all communication plans, training, and documentation.
• Lead budget discussions and align short and long-term delivery strategies with internal and external business goals.

Here is what our ideal candidate has:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional background
• 7+ years of experience in IT project or program management.
• Proven track record of managing complex initiatives within highly regulated environments, including experience with compliance-driven work.
• Demonstrated experience working on AI-driven projects or AI-implementation and integration initiatives.
• Technical proficiency with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or MS Azure, along with experience in data-driven project management.
• Experience with change management processes and forecasting resource requirements for large-scale projects and programs.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate technical status effectively to senior management.
