Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will engage in basic production tasks. You will be responsible for moving totes from the injection area, transporting caps from machines to lines, and performing general housekeeping. This role requires the ability to walk extensively and lift boxes or products throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities on production lines, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and throughput standards.
• Accurately complete quality and production reports on an hourly basis.
• Conduct physical and visual inspections to prevent non-conforming goods.
• Report quality defects promptly to team members and shift leadership.
• Adhere to company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain general housekeeping in production areas and other assigned areas.
• Ensure appropriate levels of raw materials to minimize production line downtime.
• Demonstrate aptitude and skill to work in all assigned production areas.
• Troubleshoot minor production line issues and perform relief duties as needed.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or as dictated by production demand.

Essential Skills

• Ability to stand on feet for long hours.
• Positive attitude.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in beverage, bottling, or plastics manufacturing is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment involves handling materials, pressing buttons, and engaging in various material handling tasks. The facility operates on a 2/2/3 rotating shift schedule. Employees must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness. The role requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts in a demanding production setting, with the need to address production demands as they arise.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Weatherby Lake, MO 64153.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
