Job Description

A well-established general contractor in the Colorado Springs market is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall execution of projects, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and client communication. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
  • Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and procurement
  • Oversee and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors
  • Collaborate with Superintendents to align field execution with project goals
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to leadership

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Proven experience managing ground-up projects
  • Strong understanding of construction financials, contracts, and scheduling
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
