Export Attorney - Trade Controls

Job Title: Senior Export Attorney (Trade Controls & Sanctions)

Location: Miami, FL (Remote options available for the right candidate)

Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000+  DOE And bonus programs. . . .

We are seeking a highly skilled Export Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in trade controls to join a growing practice. This is an opportunity to handle sophisticated legal matters involving EAR, ITAR, and OFAC regulations for a diverse range of global clients. What You Will Do:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of complex export and sanctions regulations.

• Lead the preparation and management of export and sanctions licensing.

• Oversee screening processes, export jurisdiction, and product classification.

• Draft and implement robust trade compliance policies and internal processes.

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on export controls and deemed exports.

• Provide direct, high-level counsel to clients on regulatory updates and compliance strategies.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in trade controls.

• Expertise: Strong working knowledge of EAR, ITAR, and OFAC matters is required.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clear, direct guidance to clients.

• Analytical Skills: High level of proficiency in data analysis and technical regulatory research.

• Drive: A self-starter who works well independently but also thrives in a collaborative team environment under the direction of subject matter experts.

• Management: Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize urgent client requests in a fast-paced setting.
