Job Title : Workday Technical Lead(HCM)
Work Location: Greater Boston Area
Type : Onsite Requirement: 3-4 days per week
Contract L: 6+ Months

Job Summary

We're Looking for Workday Technical Lead to take ownership of the technical side of the Workday ecosystem, supporting critical HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on while also acting as a go-to expert for system functionality, integrations, and performance improvements.

You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure Workday is running efficiently, meets compliance standards, and adapts to evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities
• ct as the primary technical expert for Workday HCM and related modules
• Build, enhance, and maintain integrations and data workflows
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and system configurations
• Lead testing cycles, including validation and issue resolution
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and usability
• Partner with HR and compliance teams to ensure data accuracy and regulatory alignment
• Provide support for ongoing system maintenance and troubleshooting
• ssist with Workday updates/releases and assess system impact

Required Qualifications
• 5-8+ years of experience working directly with Workday systems Strong knowledge of HCM, with exposure to Payroll as a plus
• Hands-on experience with integrations (EIB, Core Connectors; Studio is a bonus)
• Proven track record handling:
• System testing
• Data validation
• Requirements documentation
• bility to function as a self-driven technical contributor
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Proven experience in:
• System testing & validation
• Requirements gathering & documentation
• bility to work independently as a technical individual contributor
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills
• Experience working in a regulated environment (Healthcare, Finance, Pharma, etc.)
• Prior experience in end-to-end Workday implementation or transformation projects
• Familiarity with data security and compliance frameworks
• Workday certifications (nice to have)
