JOB TITLE: FedEx/UPS Shipper


DEPARTMENT: Shipping


FLSA STATUS : Non-Exempt

Location : Plant 1

Schedule : Monday - Thursday 6 :30 am to 4:00 pm

Friday 6:30 am to 10:30 am

*Schedule may vary depending on business needs. Overtime and weekend Schedule may be required**

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Packing and Shipping FedEx & UPS packages
• Running reports and creating BOL's
• Keeping track of priority orders
• Communicating with multiple parties to facilitate pick ups
• Help load freight when necessary
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the Furniture Industry - Minimum 1 year working experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AS400 (or similar data entry platforms) - Minimum 1 year working knowledge
• Ability to problem solve and think analytically
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships
• Ability to show confidence, take independent action, show a sense of urgency, and take responsibility for your own decisions
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to lift heavy rolls of fabric and furniture (~50lbs single lift)
