Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with experience in tree trimming and the operation of bucket trucks.

* Must have Climbing experience*

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of tree health, identifying any signs of disease or damage.
• Utilize rigging techniques to safely lower branches and debris during tree removal or trimming.
• Climbing and pruning and/or removing trees.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Drive trucks and equipment to and from jobsites. (Driver's License required, CDL is a bonus.)
• Provide support with daily tasks including: Trimming, removals, stump grinding, ensuring safety standards are properly followed, and care of equipment/gear as needed on a daily basis.
• Operate bucket trucks safely to access high branches and perform necessary maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Skills

• Proficient in tree trimming techniques and overall tree care practices.
• Experience operating bucket trucks and other related equipment safely.
• Knowledge of
• Strong rigging skills for safe branch removal and lowering techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients effectively.

Experience

• Tree Care: 2 years
• Climbing: 2 years: preferred, 1 year experience required.
• Ability to climb without spurs
• Heavy equipment: preferred
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• The desire to work outdoors
• Valid U.S. driver's license to operate company vehicles, CDL a plus
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.

Pay is based on experience

$25 - $35 hourly DOE, $1-2 hourly bump in the first month.

Applicant must be over 18 years old.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed, prior notice will be given.

Ability to commute to and from Farmington, UT

Work location: In person, varies by job site

***bonus is distributed after 3 weeks of work, depending on qualifications.
