Seattle Prep seeks a pool of on-call, occasional Substitute Teachers in all subject areas. General responsibilities include: Provide instruction, support, and classroom management to students in a variety of subject areas. Implement the absent teacher's lesson plans. Exercise appropriate classroom management and establish healthy and positive rapport with students. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications An Associate Degree and two years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Prep’s mission and values, especially as it relates to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Experience working with youth. Successful completion of criminal history background check and Safe Environment training. Salary Range Substitute Teachers are paid $20.00 per hour.
