We are seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to develop, contract, and implement natural gas and renewable energy projects, serving as Owner’s Engineer and/or Advisor. Preferred locations include: Austin, Ann Arbor, Boise, Bismarck, Billings, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Irvine, Fort Worth, Houston, Honolulu, Kansas City, Madison, Minneapolis, Missoula, Omaha, Phoenix, Portland (OR & ME), Richmond, Raleigh, Sacramento/Folsom, San Diego, Seattle, Spokane, St Louis, Syracuse. The ideal candidate should have experience in utility-scale power and renewable energy industries, leading power generation design projects, supporting traditional Owner’s Engineering roles, and mentoring engineers. Extensive experience in power generation, distribution, protection, motor control, system studies, and balance of plant designs is required. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an Electrical Power emphasis. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering. Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical power generation design. Experience with simple cycle and combined cycle power plants. Experience with engineering consulting or EPC firms preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams. Deep knowledge of three-phase electrical power, protection, control design, and system grounding. Ability to work with project managers, direct engineering teams, and mentor staff. Willingness to travel less than 10% for client meetings and site visits. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. At least 10 years of experience. Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. Experience in power market project execution. Proficient in Microsoft Office and power sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Revit).
