Point Quest Pediatric Therapies, located in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within the Education / Teaching / Administration industry. In this role, you will work with children with special needs in school and clinic-based settings, providing comprehensive psychological services that support their personal growth, development, and academic success. You will collaborate closely with teachers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, administrators, and families to design and implement integrated, child-centered care plans. As a School Psychologist with Point Quest Pediatrics, you will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral assessments, and functional behavior analyses to identify student strengths, needs, and barriers to learning. You will interpret assessment data, develop individualized recommendations, and contribute to the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans. Your work will include delivering individual and small-group counseling, social–emotional skill-building interventions, and crisis response support, always maintaining a focus on safety, dignity, and inclusion. You will serve as a key consultant to teachers, related service providers, and families, offering evidence-based strategies to support academic engagement, emotional regulation, and positive behavior in both classroom and therapy environments. In collaboration with our pediatric therapy team, you will participate in multidisciplinary meetings, share insights from your assessments, and help integrate psychological, educational, and therapeutic goals into cohesive plans for each child. You will document all services and assessments in a timely, accurate manner in accordance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards. This position offers the opportunity to practice school psychology in a setting that values innovative approaches to care, data-informed decision-making, and collaborative problem-solving. You will contribute to staff training and professional development on topics such as trauma-informed practices, behavior management, social–emotional learning, and mental health awareness in school settings. You may also assist in the development of preventative programs that foster positive school climate, resilience, and inclusive practices for students with diverse learning and behavioral profiles. Point Quest Pediatrics fosters a supportive and inclusive culture where team members learn from one another and are encouraged to bring creative solutions to complex challenges. As a School Psychologist here, you will be supported by leadership that values your clinical expertise and your commitment to equity and access in education. You will have the chance to build strong relationships with students and families over time, seeing firsthand the impact of integrated educational and therapy services on children’s daily functioning and long-term development. We are looking for a professional who demonstrates strong communication skills, cultural responsiveness, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing a dynamic caseload, and maintaining high standards of ethical practice and confidentiality. If you are interested in joining a mission-driven organization that combines educational and therapeutic services to help children thrive, Point Quest Pediatric Therapies invites you to consider this School Psychologist opportunity in Sacramento, CA.
