Research Technician

Starting wage: $17.51/ per hour

As we continue to grow, we are looking for dedicated professionals to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions. You will play a vital role in supporting our mission and ensuring operational excellence. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Brief Summary of Duties

• Quickly identify valuable IT equipment and prep for sale
• Research values of IT equipment
• Repair and part out IT type equipment (PCs, Notebooks, Printers, Servers, etc.)
• Ensure all customer data has been removed from IT equipment
• Travel for in/out of state special projects when required – Optional
• Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Other duties as assigned by department

Experience and/or Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Applicant has typing skills and be able to perform constant data entry
• Resume shows a background working with computers
• Work history doing hardware repair
• Productively work as an individual and as part of a team
• Personality needs to be outgoing, energetic, and able to multi-task and be able to prioritize workflow
• Be creative when it comes to marketing and be able to quickly understand the value of IT type product

Experience and/or Education Preferred

• A+ certification or IT type degree

• PC Tech Experience

• Previous employment in computer related job

• Familiar with selling on the Internet sales websites
