Job Summary We are a busy interpreting service provider in Nebraska seeking qualified, fully bilingual interpreters to provide in‑person interpretation for our local clients. We have an immediate need for Q’anjob’al interpreters in the Omaha area. This is a great opportunity to use your cultural knowledge to help non‑English speakers and enjoy great job satisfaction with flexible hours. Requirements Fully bilingual Excellent communication and listening skills Familiarity with medical terminology Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance In‑person only; must have transportation to attend appointments locally Technical skills for learning and using an online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required) Access to a printer Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred Background checks and drug screens required Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter availability and preferences. Applicants must have some availability M–F 7:00 AM–5:00 PM as this is when services are typically needed. This is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken, and client needs.
