What you'll do as a Podiatrist

  • Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower extremities, including injuries, deformities, and chronic diseases.

  • Perform medical procedures and surgeries such as correcting bunions, treating fractures, and removing ingrown toenails or infections.

  • Prescribe treatments including medications, orthotics, physical therapy, and preventive care plans to improve mobility and foot health.

  • Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention, and management of conditions related to diabetes, arthritis, and circulation issues

Qualifications you'll need

  • Experience working alone, as well as podiatrists with wound care training in a hospital setting.

  • Graduated from an accredited Medical School

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologist

  • An active New York Medical License
