Job Description
Job Overview
Our organization, a flourishing private practice comprised of four physicians in the picturesque Spokane, Washington, is on the lookout for a Foot and Ankle Surgeon to become part of our vibrant and independent team. This is a unique chance to influence your career path within a supportive, physician-led environment that values personal investment and independence.
We are aiming to fill the position of a retiring physician, who will be stepping down in October 2026. This presents an excellent opportunity for you to seamlessly integrate into a successful practice with an established patient base. The outgoing physician currently maintains a busy schedule, working 4.5 days a week, including a half-day dedicated to surgery at our Ambulatory Surgical Center.
If you are eager to move away from hospital constraints or are ready to take charge of your own success, this is your opportunity to do so in a lively and expanding community. With three main clinic locations and two satellite offices, along with ongoing growth into North Idaho, you will have the necessary support and infrastructure to develop a practice that aligns with your lifestyle.

Life in Spokane:
If you seek a location that is both grounded and quietly stunning, Spokane is the place for you. Often referred to as the "Lilac City," Spokane is rich in beauty and vibrancy. At the heart of Downtown Spokane lies Riverfront Park, where the Spokane River cascades through basalt cliffs, creating a dramatic scene, especially in spring when the snowmelt transforms it into a roaring spectacle.
Riverfront Park exudes a relaxed, inviting atmosphere where people gather for morning coffee walks, evening concerts, seasonal festivities, and to watch gondolas glide over the river.
What truly distinguishes Spokane is its accessibility. Within an hour or often less, you can embark on various outdoor adventures:
Skiing or snowboarding at Mt. Spokane during winter
Paddleboarding or swimming at Lake Coeur D'Alene in summer
Hiking through forests, waterfalls, and ridgelines in Riverside State Park
Mountain biking on the diverse trail network of Beacon Hill
Access to over 16 golf courses in the Greater Spokane and Inland Northwest area
Spokane showcases four distinct seasons, with crisp, colorful autumns filled with the scent of leaves and woodsmoke, snowy winters, vibrant springs bursting with color and rushing waters, and warm, golden summers with long evenings and dry air.
The atmosphere in Spokane is characterized by great coffee, local breweries, a burgeoning food scene, and a sense of community among neighbors. The culture is enriched with historic mansions, museums, music venues, historic hotels, and the timeless elegance of the Davenport Hotel.
One of Spokane's best-kept secrets is the balance it offers. It is an affordable place to live, breathe easily, and still have access to essential services such as healthcare, education, arts, and an airport that connects you to the wider world.
The name "Spokane" is often interpreted as "Children of the Sun," which is fitting given the region's bright summers and expansive skies. It possesses a charm that feels both relaxed and welcoming.
