Job Title: Model Maker 1 Location: Livonia, MI Zip Code: 48150 Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate: $21-$25/hr. Keyword's: #Livoniajobs; #ModelMakerjobs; Start Date: Immediate Job Summary: The Model Maker I will work with various composite and 3D printed materials and maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition. The Model Maker I will be mentored and supported by team members on project work and customer interactions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Surface parts and fit components for assemblies.
• Develop composite tooling and molds.
• Create foam plank build-ups.
• Laminate with epoxy resins and carbon composites.
• Participate in vac-form disciplines.
• Operate shop equipment, including hand tools, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up.

Education and Experience (required):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ previous experience required.

Education and Experience (preferred):

• Certificate in Autobody, Automotive Technology or related.
• Valid driver"s license.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities (required):

• Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Has own tools with toolbox.
• Ability to read, comprehend and execute written and verbal instructions.
