Position Title: Litigation Attorney (General Trial)

We are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to support our expanding insurance defense practice. This is an excellent opportunity for both entry-level attorneys and recent law school graduates eager to develop their litigation skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Associate Attorney position is based in our Saint Petersburg office. This role is responsible for managing litigation matters across the firm’s core practice areas and handling a broad range of responsibilities throughout all phases of litigation. Duties include legal drafting, discovery management (including drafting and responding to discovery), legal research, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, client and witness interviews, arbitration, and trial preparation.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

· J.D. from an A.B.A. Accredited Law School, with excellent academic credentials

· Must have an active law license to practice in the state of Florida and be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Florida

· We welcome entry-level attorneys with strong academic credentials or prior courtroom experience as an Assistant State Attorney or Public Defender

· Ability to manage caseload and litigation, staff

· Be able to work independently but also collaboratively with Practice Group Leaders

· Strong writing and oral communication skills

· Excellent research and analytical abilities

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Open to recent graduates who are studying to take the Florida Bar
