We are a creative collective of architects, designers, planners, and thinkers who believe that great design contributes to the life of a community. Our work spans civic, cultural, housing, higher‑education, health, aviation, urban living, and workplace environments — each grounded in human experience and purpose‑driven design excellence. Produce and oversee comprehensive construction documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Drive material, finish, and furniture selections that are tailored to each client's program, budget, and aesthetic goals. Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation from schematic design through construction administration. Work collaboratively with other design professionals. Furniture Procurement & Library Specialization Experience with furniture selection, design, and procurement encouraged but not required. Lead furniture selection, specification, and procurement for library and public‑sector projects, including bid‑compliant procurement processes. Develop detailed furniture specifications, cut sheets, and procurement packages aligned with public bidding requirements. Maintain current knowledge of contract furniture manufacturers, product lines, and sustainability certifications relevant to public‑sector work. Client Engagement Serve as a primary client contact for interior design scope items; communicate clearly and proactively throughout all project phases. Present design concepts, material boards, and procurement recommendations with confidence and clarity. Facilitate client workshops, programming sessions, and design reviews as appropriate to each project. Coordination & Construction Administration Coordinate with architects and vendors to ensure design intent is upheld through construction and installation. Conduct regular site visits; review submittals, RFIs, and product samples to ensure specification compliance. Navigate public‑sector project requirements including prevailing wage, state procurement rules, and public bidding processes. Quality & Innovation Stay current with industry trends, emerging materials, sustainable products, and technologies relevant to civic and library design. Champion Engberg Anderson's commitment to thoughtful, context‑responsive, and community‑centered design on every project.
