Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Packaging Laborers for openings at two of our sites. The role involves a variety of tasks related to packaging and production, ensuring products are correctly bottled, packaged, and prepared for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Put caps and lids on bottles.
• Bottle products into boxes and cases.
• Sort and separate finished products.
• Pack jugs and bottles into boxes.
• Lift and stage boxes.
• Palletize and wrap boxes and containers.
• Place boxes and products into sealer machinery.
• Perform quality inspections by counting, sorting, and checking sizes.
• Place tags and labels on products and boxes.
• Pull cases off the line and stack on pallets.
• Wrap and stage cases and boxes.
• Work on multiple lines packaging products.
• Assist operators with batch mixing and janitorial work.
• Assist in making batches, weighing out product liquid, and preparing for batches.
• Document all orders.
• Work with drums and totes.
• Lift up to 55 lbs.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.

• Ability to perform multiple jobs and work in multiple areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Wearing steel toe boots is required.

• Packaging experience.
• Labor experience.
• Multi-tasking ability.
• Nice to have: Chemical, oil, or food manufacturing background.

Work Environment

Alsip Facility: A modern and clean facility, temperature controlled, with a smaller workforce. Chicago Heights Facility: Larger workforce, more production lines, and a bit more chaotic, but still organized and temperature controlled. Both sites focus heavily on safety and are equipped with security checkpoints and multiple break rooms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alsip, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.35/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Alsip,IL.
