Pipelayer Position

T.E. Roberts is well-established pipeline construction company in Irvine, CA. We are looking for a competent and experienced pipelayer. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else. Your position and opportunity for advancement is solely up to you. We are aggressively growing and need to expand our team. Pay will be based on experience. "NO PROBLEMS, ONLY SOLUTIONS" Key responsibilities

• Pipe installation: Position pipes in trenches, connect them according to plans, and seal joints using cement, glue, or welding equipment.
• Alignment and grade: Use tools like grade rods, lasers, and levels to ensure pipes are correctly aligned and sloped to specifications.
• Equipment operation: Operate mechanized equipment like trenchers, backhoes, and rollers, as well as hand and power tools.
• Maintenance and repair: Locate existing pipes needing repair or replacement and perform repairs on pipe systems.
• Safety compliance: Follow safety regulations, blueprints, and company policies, and adhere to policies for utility safety.
• Site preparation: Dig trenches to specified depths, grade trenches, and prepare the ground for pipe installation.

Required skills and qualifications

• Technical skills: Ability to read blueprints, use surveying and leveling equipment, and operate heavy machinery.
• Soft skills: Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills to coordinate with other crew members.

Paid hourly, beginning at $30.00 per hour.
