Job Description

Position Overview

The Electrical Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, execution, and financial performance of multiple complex electrical construction projects. This role oversees large-scale commercial, industrial, data center, healthcare, and/or manufacturing projects, ensuring delivery aligns with safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives. The Senior Project Manager also plays a key role in client relationships, team leadership, and strategic project planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility for assigned projects, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including OSHA regulations and company policies
  • Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field teams
  • Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams during bid and planning phases
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact
  • Conduct regular project meetings, progress reviews, and financial reporting
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, processes, and team performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical construction project management
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects ($20M+) in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical environments
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and project delivery processes
  • Demonstrated success in managing project financials and leading high-performing teams
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, MS Project etc.)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with data centers, healthcare facilities, or large industrial projects
  • Background working with top-tier electrical contractors or ENR-ranked firms
  • Knowledge of BIM/VDC coordination and integrated project delivery methods
  • PMP certification or equivalent (a plus)
