Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager with experience in warehouse and distribution center electrical systems. This role will manage projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with electrical codes and project specifications.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in large commercial electrical installations including power distribution, lighting systems, and switchgear for warehouse environments.

What You’ll Do

• Manage commercial electrical projects for warehouses and distribution facilities
• Oversee projects from pre-construction through project closeout
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field crews
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and manpower planning
• Track project financials including forecasting and cost control
• Identify and manage change orders and scope modifications
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project

Requirements

• Maintain project documentation using Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software
• Lead weekly project meetings covering safety, schedule, and costSkills & Qualifications
• 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial electrical construction
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%
• Strong background in commercial or heavy commercial electrical systems
• Experience with warehouse, distribution center, or large facility electrical projects
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and change orders
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, or construction project management software
• Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of NEC codes, safety standards, and jobsite operations
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%

Preferred

• Electrical background or licensed electrician
• Experience with large-scale power distribution, switchgear, and lighting systems
• Experience working on large warehouse or distribution center builds
• PMP or construction management certification
