Job Description

My client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery from preconstruction through completion ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will work closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive successful project outcomes while managing both technical and administrative functions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage all phases of electrical construction projects
• Oversee contract administration, document control, submittals, procurement, and scheduling
• Develop and maintain master project schedules and short-term look-ahead plans
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and forecast financial performance
• Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions
• Collaborate with preconstruction teams on estimating, scope development, and value engineering
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications
• Lead change order processes and prepare owner requisitions
• Evaluate subcontractor/vendor performance and ensure contractual compliance
• Monitor job cost reports and conduct regular financial reviews
• Drive quality control across all electrical installations and systems
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects
• Experience with commercial or industrial electrical projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Excel, Word)
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and contract management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
