Dump Truck Dispatcher Job Summary C.R. Jackson is hiring a
Dump Truck Dispatcher to support our hauling and construction operations across South Carolina. In this role, you'll coordinate dump truck scheduling, communicate with drivers and field crews, and help ensure materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to active job sites.
This position plays an important role in keeping projects running smoothly by supporting daily logistics and maintaining strong communication between operations, drivers, and supervisors. You'll work alongside a supportive team that values
safety, accountability, and doing the job right. What You'll Do - Schedule and coordinate dump truck assignments for construction projects
- Communicate with drivers, supervisors, plants, and job sites throughout the day
- Monitor truck movement and adjust schedules to meet operational needs
- Ensure hauling operations are completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, load information, and daily reports
- Assist with resolving scheduling or delivery issues in a timely manner
- Monitor driver compliance with company policies and safety procedures
- Use phones, radios, GPS systems, and computer software to support operations
- Communicate respectfully and work together to keep operations running safely and efficiently
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project needs
What We're Looking For - High school diploma or GED
- Previous dispatching, trucking, logistics, or construction experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Basic computer skills including email, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly under pressure
- Professional communication with drivers, crews, and customers
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Valid driver's license is required
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, or weekends as needed
