Job Description Summary
The Curriculum Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for SPCE’s curriculum planning, course scheduling, course/program assessment, and accreditation compliance. The role ensures all offerings align with institutional policies and regulatory standards, oversees faculty assignments, manages course scheduling processes, and maintains accurate academic records to support high-quality academic delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in academic operations or curriculum management.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree
Supervisory Experience
Experience with instructional design, assessment, or accreditation processes

Duties
Specific Duties
Coordinate with academic content experts and faculty on curriculum approvals.
Maintain files of master syllabi, faculty syllabi, approved textbooks, course evaluations, and approved faculty by course.
Monitor enrollment, registration deadlines, grading timelines, and low-enrollment courses.
Percentage Of Time

Scheduling & Faculty Coordination
Develop and manage short- and long-term course schedules.
Provide oversight and guidance to FLAC Specialists to ensure CRN creation and faculty contracts.
Collaborate with Academic Affairs on program development, faculty training, and assessment coordination.
Ensure accurate course modality, location, and delivery details are entered and maintained in Banner and TDX .
Liaise with the Center for Teaching and Learning for CRN and D2L coordination.

Compliance & Collaboration
Ensure compliance with institutional, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure consistency, documentation integrity, and compliance across SPCE curricula.
Partner effectively across departments to align curriculum processes with broader university goals.

Assessment and Continuous Improvement
Support course-level assessment processes, including collection and archiving of assessment artifacts and faculty reports.
Assist with program-level assessment coordination, including tracking Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs).
Maintain organized records of assessment findings and improvement actions.
Collaborate with faculty and academic leadership to ensure assessment cycles align with institutional timelines.
Provide data and documentation to support accreditation reporting, program review, and WSCUC -related processes.
Monitor course evaluation data and support distribution of summary reports for improvement planning.

Provides direct supervision to FLAC Specialists and assigned student staff, including training, workload management, and performance feedback.
