Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction of healthcare facilities and hospitals from pre-construction through close-out
• Oversee contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure work meets drawings, specifications, healthcare codes, and regulatory standards
• Lead all mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, and MEP coordination activities
• Ensure specialized systems (e.g., infection control, HVAC pressurization, clean rooms, OT/ICU requirements) are properly implemented
• Review and manage construction schedules, budgets, cost reports, and change orders
• Conduct site meetings, progress reviews, and coordination with hospital stakeholders, medical staff, and end users
• Ensure compliance with healthcare safety regulations, quality standards, and local authority requirements
• Implement and monitor infection control risk assessments (ICRA) and hospital safety protocols during construction
• Resolve field issues, RFIs, submittals, and constructability challenges
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, validation, and final handover of critical healthcare systems
• Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation plans

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum 4–5 years of construction management experience
• Proven experience delivering healthcare facilities or hospital projects
• Strong mechanical and HVAC experience, especially in hospital environments (e.g., AHUs, clean rooms, pressure zoning)
• Solid understanding of MEP systems coordination, medical gas systems, and commissioning processes
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex site logistics in active or sensitive environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, codes, and accreditation standards (preferred)
