Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to coordinate and schedule freight shipments, communicate with drivers, and ensure timely deliveries. The Truck Dispatcher will monitor routes, resolve transportation issues, maintain accurate records, and serve as the primary point of contact between drivers, customers, and carriers. strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills are essential for success in this role.

salary: $21 - $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to customers.
• Coordinate routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
• Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, delays, and issues.
• Maintain accurate transportation and dispatch records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
